Living the Glamorous Miami Lifestyle at Artech: Kitchen and Dining Rooms

This week we are taking you inside the kitchen and dining rooms of the modern Miami residence we completed at Artech. The project was recently profiled in a story in Boca Design and Architectural Review Magazine, so let’s continue our closer look at the glamorous design.

Bright white walls, sleek lines and modern appliances create a chic kitchen and dining area. The two rooms are separated by a white island that has been transformed into a bar on the dining room side with an elevated black bar top and two white bar stools. The kitchen table is an L-shaped piece placed against the bar to maximize space. Both spaces are softened by a drywall soffit that extends from above the cooktop in the kitchen area to over the dining table.

The bright tone of the room is slightly dimmed by the black chairs at the dining room table,  the black accessories on top of the table and by the textured wallpaper on one of the walls.

The wavy wallpaper carries over from the living room into the dining room and kitchen area. In front of the wallpaper is a glass table with a large black and white print of an orchid with a solitary flower painted red as well as visually appealing glass accessories seated atop the table.
